About

I’m a senior software engineer and technical lead with 18 years of experience designing, building, and operating mission-critical distributed systems. My work has spanned cloud infrastructure, public safety, banking, government, and enterprise data platforms.

Across that journey, I have worked on client applications, APIs, high-volume data and streaming platforms, DevOps, security, site reliability engineering, and applied AI/ML. The systems have ranged from city-scale public-safety applications to platforms processing more than a billion records per day and hundreds of thousands of messages per second.

This is my independent space to turn that experience into practical, reusable knowledge. I write about architecture, reliability, developer productivity, cloud engineering, and applied AI, alongside occasional personal notes and photography.
